1. Getting Started
Creating Your Account
- Sign Up: Click "Sign Up" on the homepage
- Fill Out Your Information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Gender (for standings categories)
- Password
- Join an Organization: You'll need an invitation code from your racing organization
- Confirm Your Email: Check your email and click the confirmation link
First Login
After confirming your email, log in with your email and password. You'll be taken to your organization's homepage where you can see current standings and recent race results.
2. Account Management
Updating Your Profile
- Click on your profile icon in the top navigation
- Select "Edit Profile"
- Update your information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Gender
- Click "Update" to save changes
Changing Your Password
- Go to "Edit Profile"
- Fill in:
- Current Password
- New Password
- Confirm New Password
- Click "Update" to save
3. Sub-Accounts
Sub-accounts are perfect for: Parents managing children's race results, or one person managing multiple family members' accounts.
Creating a Sub-Account
- From your profile menu, select "Sub Accounts"
- Click "Create New Sub Account"
- Fill out the sub-account information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Gender
- Email (can be the same as your main account)
- Click "Create Sub Account"
Managing Sub-Accounts
- Switch Between Accounts: Use the account switcher in your profile menu
- Add Results: Switch to the sub-account and add results as normal
- Edit Sub-Account Info: Go to Sub Accounts and click "Edit" next to the account
- Delete Sub-Account: Click "Delete" next to the account (this will remove all results!)
Note: Sub-accounts can (but do not have to) share the same email as the parent account but are considered separate accounts for login and results.
4. Adding Race Results
Adding a Regular Race Result
- Navigate to "New Result" from the main menu
- Select Race: Choose from the dropdown of available races
- Select Points: Choose your placement - for example:
- 1st Place: Overall, Age Group, or Masters winner
- 2nd Place: Overall, Age Group, or Masters second
- 3rd Place: Overall, Age Group, or Masters third
- Finished: Completed the race
- Click "Submit"
Important Rules
- One Result Per Race: You can only have one result per race
- One Race Per Date: You can only have one race result per date
- Future Races: You cannot add results for races that haven't happened yet
5. Editing Your Results
Viewing Your Results
- Click on your name in the standings, or
- Navigate to "My Results" from your profile menu
Editing a Result
- On your results page, click the "Edit" button next to any result
- Update your point value based on your actual placement
- Click "Update Result"
Deleting a Result
If you need to delete a result (for example, to add a different race from the same date), contact your organization administrator.
Tip: Your standings and point totals update automatically when you edit results.
6. Bonus Races
Some organizations offer bonus races - special races that give you extra points beyond the regular race series.
Types of Bonus Races
Virtual Races
- What it is: Complete a regular series race "virtually" for bonus points
- How to add:
- Select "Bonus Race" from the race dropdown
- Choose "Existing race with Virtual Option"
- Select which race you completed virtually
- Submit (points are automatically assigned)
Marathon or Longer External Races
- What it is: Participate in a marathon or longer race outside the regular series
- How to add:
- Select "Bonus Race" from the race dropdown
- Choose "Marathon or Longer Event"
- Fill in race details:
- Race Name
- Race Date
- Race Location
- Race URL (optional)
- Select your placement level for points
- Submit
Limit: You can typically only submit one bonus race result per year.
7. Viewing Results and Standings
Organization Homepage
The main organization page shows:
- Current Standings: Separate male and female leaderboards
- Recent Races: List of upcoming and recent races
- Year Filter: View standings and results from previous years
Individual Results
- View Anyone's Results: Click on any name in the standings
- Your Results: Shows all your race results with dates and points
- Filter by Year: Use the year filter to see previous years' results
Race Results
- Individual Race: Click on any race name to see all participants' results
- Bonus Races: Shows whether results are from virtual races or external marathons
- Official Results: Links to official race results when available
8. Organizations
Joining Multiple Organizations
You can be a member of multiple racing organizations:
- Get an invitation code from the organization administrator
- Go to "Memberships" in your profile menu
- Enter the invitation code
- Click "Join Organization"
Switching Between Organizations
- Use the organization switcher in the top navigation
- Click on the organization name you want to view
- All results, standings, and races will update to show that organization's data
Note: Your results are separate for each organization, but you use the same account for all.
9. Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
Can't Add a Result
- Race already exists: You already have a result for that race - edit it instead
- Same date conflict: You have another race on the same date - delete the other result first
- Future race: You can't add results for races that haven't happened yet
- Lower points: You're trying to add a result with lower points than an existing result on the same date
Can't See My Organization
- Make sure you have a valid invitation code
- Check that you've confirmed your email address
- Contact your organization administrator
Standings Not Updating
- Refresh the page
- Check that you're viewing the correct year
- Make sure your results were successfully added (check "My Results")
Forgot Password
- Click "Forgot Password" on the login page
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for reset instructions
- Follow the link to set a new password
Need Help?
Contact your organization administrator if you:
- Need to delete a result
- Have incorrect race information
- Need help with points or placements
- Experience technical issues
Tips and Best Practices
- Add Results Promptly: Add your race results as soon as possible after each race
- Double-Check Points: Make sure you select the correct placement for accurate points
- Use Sub-Accounts: If managing family members, create sub-accounts for better organization
- Check Standings Regularly: Keep track of your progress throughout the year
- Plan Bonus Races: If your organization offers bonus races, plan which events you'll participate in
- Keep Email Updated: Make sure your email address is current for important notifications
